About Toulouse Speakers
Toulouse Speakers is an English-speaking Toastmasters club based in Toulouse, France, where people come together to develop their communication skills, confidence, and leadership abilities.
We welcome members of all experience levels, from beginners to experienced speakers.
We meet every two weeks for around two hours, creating regular opportunities to practise, exchange ideas, and learn from one another in a supportive environment.
Toulouse Speakers is part of Toastmasters International, a global network of clubs that helps people build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and develop their leadership abilities.
What Happens during a Meeting?
Our meetings are structured, interactive and designed to help members learn by doing.
Each meeting has a theme and is divided into three main parts: prepared speeches, table topics, and evaluations. Together, they give members the opportunity to express themselves, think on their feet and learn from one another in a supportive environment.

Meet Our Officers 2026-2027
Each year, our members elect a team of officers who help lead the club, support its members, and ensure everything runs smoothly. The officers’ term begins on 1 July and ends on 30 June of the following year.
Provides leadership and direction for the club, coordinates the officers’ team, and helps create a positive and welcoming experience for all members.
Plans and coordinates meeting agendas, supports members in achieving their learning goals, and helps ensure everyone has opportunities to practise and develop their skills.
Welcomes prospective members, supports newcomers throughout their first meetings, and helps build an engaged and active club community.
Helps shape the club’s communication strategy, writes social media captions, and manages the publication of content to promote meetings, events, and club activities.
Develops the club’s communication strategy, creates flyers and social media visuals, and manages the Toulouse Speakers website.
Maintains the club’s records and official documents, takes meeting minutes, and helps keep important information organised and accessible to the officers.
Prepares the meeting space and ensures everything is ready before each session, helping create a smooth, organised, and welcoming environment for members and guests.

Our meetings are conducted entirely in English, so you should feel comfortable enough to follow discussions and participate. You don't need perfect English or a native accent. By taking part in meetings, you'll also have opportunities to practise expressing yourself in English.
No preparation is required. You can attend as a guest, discover how our meetings work, and meet our members. No previous public speaking experience or prepared speech is necessary.
Neither. Toulouse Speakers is a public speaking and communication club. Our meetings focus on developing speaking, listening, evaluation, and leadership skills through practical exercises and constructive feedback.
You are welcome to attend as a guest and observe how the meeting works. You'll also have opportunities to participate in activities, depending on the meeting format. You don't need to prepare a speech in advance, just bring your curiosity.
